Smart Home Energy Saver Project IoT & Smart Home Automation
Designed a smart home energy-saving system to monitor electricity usage, improve energy efficiency, and support automated power management for household devices.
My journey into technology began with a curiosity about how software can solve real-world problems. During my Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, I developed a strong interest in programming, databases, and system design. As I worked on different academic projects, I realised that data was becoming the foundation of modern decision-making, which inspired me to continue my education in Data Science.
Studying for my MSc in Data Science at the University of Chester gave me the opportunity to combine software engineering with machine learning, statistics, and data analytics. Throughout my studies, I worked on projects involving predictive modelling, data visualisation, web application development, and explainable machine learning. Rather than focusing only on model accuracy, I became interested in building complete systems that people can actually use.
I enjoy transforming complex datasets into practical solutions. From early warning systems for student dropout prediction to service-level agreement monitoring and healthcare risk assessment, every project has strengthened my understanding of how data can support better decisions. My work combines Python, SQL, machine learning, web development, and cloud technologies to build applications that are both technically sound and user friendly.
As technology continues to evolve, I believe learning should never stop. Alongside my background in data science and software engineering, I am expanding my knowledge of networking, cloud infrastructure, automation, and cybersecurity. Building this broader technical foundation allows me to design systems that are secure, scalable, and ready for real-world environments.
Outside of technical work, I value discipline, continuous learning, and teamwork. I enjoy exploring new technologies, contributing to academic and personal projects, and improving my skills through professional certifications and practical experience. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn something new and become a better engineer.
My goal is to contribute to organisations where data, software, and technology can create meaningful impact. I am always looking for opportunities to solve problems, learn from experienced professionals, and continue growing throughout my career.
